One of the sponsors I got was Whipper Snippers (hair cuts for kids, and adults sometimes). The owners live in our neighborhood so here I am with the daughter holding up our pirate poster!

Kinda freaking out

So I'm kinda freaking out about the "Ten, ten times" work of art. 100 is a lot. Not so sure if it was a good idea to sign up for thursday to meet Mrs. McBride with the photos. I was thinking that I could take a ton at Thanksgiving, so I did but my family is not the most photogenic.
so I took a lot when they were they were unaware...

and then I ended up just taking pictures of my hand and the bathroom mirror :)

Illustrations

For a little while, I thought it would be fun to be an illustrator. Personally, I think books are better with pictures in it. One of my favorite illustrators would be Brett Helquist, who did the Series of Unforturnate Events, Chasing Vermeer, and Captain Hook. Here are some of his peices I found...

Which led me to find another artist, Amy Casey...
This one reminds me of the movie up. It's almost dream like, which leads me to one of my summer concentration ideas, I didn't think I would do a concentration about dreams because I felt like maybe it was something a lot of other people would do, but now I'm considering it...

Concentration time!

I made sure to think about possible concentration ideas over the summer, so I have a couple in my head that I would consider. So far, I am thinking I am going to make it about storms, but I will probably go back and forth between my ideas many times before it is time to choose one.

Field trip

Here are some more pictures from this weeks fieldtrip (as in, in addition to everyone elses'). I think the Luscher Farm trip was the Best! Also, I had never actually been to Luscher farms, so that was cool.

Amy talking about Happy Potter, of course :)

Family Portrait

I not sure what exactly I am going to do with this assignment. I know I don't want it to be one of those studio looking portriats, althought it would be kind of fun to make it like those pretend western family portraits where they all have to dress up. I think I am going for a snap shot looking photo of just everyday life, where not everyone is necessarily smiling and the background doesn't have to be so picturesque.
